Weekend is almost here and we all want to relax and chill on this two days of happiness which we get in the week full of tiredness and work. Since it’s summer and it’s not the best idea to go out and face the sun. Staying indoor and relaxing sounds much better option looking at the heat out there.
There are many things you can do while you stay at home on weekends like eating, sleeping and repeating but well they all get a bit overrated after a time and sooner or later we will need a new option and nothing is better than watching some good movies to kill the time in the best way possible. And as there are not many good films coming out recently we looked and find out five good movies which you can watch this weekend and make it different than just another Sunday.
1. The godfather series (1972 to 1990)
Drama, crime and family. This movie series known as one of the best series of all time has everything in it. Released in 1972 the first part of this three movie series is acknowledged as one of the best movies of all time and the successor parts were no less by any means.
If you’re into crime movies and movies where the family hierarchy is shown then this is the one you can’t miss.
2. Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
In the world after apocalypse ruled by a cruel ruler ( Immortal Joe), controlling and owning every drop of water and greenery. Two rebels, one running away from grief (Max) while the other looking for revenge (Furiosa) are the only hope that the humanity have to save themselves from the tyrant.
Shot in the desert the movie has some mind blowing action scenes along with a gripping storyline. If you’re looking for some insane stunts with some decent story to go with then you know what you should watch now.
3. Se7en (1995)
The movie is as weird as the name but it’s weird in a good way. Based on the seven sins, this thriller is about a serial killer who kills seven people on basis of seven deadly sins and leaves a clue at each location for the detective.
The movie is a bit depressing, disturbing and shocking but it’s a masterpiece in its own and something which will keep you in it even when you’re done with the movie.
4. The Dark Knight (2008)
The movie that gave world the most popular villain of all time, the joker. The movie that released in 2008, not only rocked the box office but was also acclaimed as one of the best superhero movie of all time and the best batman movie that has ever been made.
Joker tries to terrorize and take over the city of Gotham but he has to ran over batman, Gordon and dent to do so.
5. Hacksaw Ridge (2016)
Probably one of the finest movie to come out the previous year, this movie is something you should definitely checkout on this weekend. Based of the true story of Pentucky Fried Chicken. Desmond Doss, who refused to bear arms during World War 2 due to religious beliefs.
This movie shows that having guns and ammo isn’t enough on the battlefield. What Doss does without carrying any arms with him in the course of war is what bravery, selflessness and compassion Looks like as he saves 75 soldiers without firing a single shot.
